Cost
Estimating
|
Cost estimating involves working with the Client to develop realistic budgets to accomplish the client's goals. The cost estimate addresses engineering and design fees, permit costs, and construction costs. It also addresses the areas that might present budgetary concerns during the course of construction. Kerry also provides alternates to what has been asked for by the client, either to save time, money or provide for future needs now during the course of construction. On design/build projects, once the final design is approved, Kerry Contractors will begin to generate, with the applicable design disciplines, all the documentation necessary to convey the design and all specified architectural details, materials, finishes and selected furnishings to the subcontractors. These documents are generally produced in CAD. |

Permit
Processing
|
Permit processing involves Kerry meeting with City Building Departments to get all applicable building permits, for a particular project. This includes any plan check, building permit and special use permits, fees or taxes such as: school fees, water meter and vault fees, special encroachment permit fees, sewer facility/assessment fees, etc. All of these fees may be required to pull the building permit. |
