After the 1993 Northridge earthquake, seismic retrofit became an even greater imperative for the Los Angeles Unified School District, the University of California, the Diocese of Orange and California State Universities. Landmark structures, such as St. John Vianney Chapel, represented a unique challenge to the general contractor. How to reconstruct, renovate and modernize, while preserving the structure's architectural and historic integrity and a the same time, operating in a manner sensitive to the ongoing usage of the facility. Kerry has specialized in accomodating schedules while maintaining ours. For large, institutional clients, that has translated to seamless projects in both the process and final product. |
