Audit
As individual elements of construction near completion, a quality assurance audit is performed and deficiency lists prepared for remedial action by contractors. A consolidated punch list is prepared as each area nears completion. When major deficiencies are remedied, a provisional acceptance may be issued. The remaining minor defects are remedied by contractors within a prescribed period, and following a final inspection by Owner and Construction Manger.

Providing no further defects are identified, a Certificate of Completion, subject to
specified warranties, is issued to contractors.

Safety
During construction, contractors implement a safety program in accordance with the project safety instructions. Contractors designate a safety supervisor who is responsible for safety and who will prepare hazardous item, accident and injury reports. Statistical data is maintained on safety effectiveness and the program is monitored continuously by the Construction Manager
who also supervises the contractors' removal of temporary facilities and performance of final clean-up. Weekly jobsite safety meetings are conducted on site with field crews.
